Tips for your success.
There are a couple things that are generally good tips and tricks for everyone who is jumping on the fitness and martial arts train. Look over these general tips and seriously think about adapting some to your lifestyle. Remember, a good idea for someone else can be customized to you. Take these tricks and make them your own.
Find a friend
Whatever you do in life, many times its better when you do it with a friend there. Find a buddy to bring to classes and work along side you. You two together will make a bigger impact than if you go it alone.
Take notes
Keep a food diary and workout journal! I know, no one really likes this one but trust me it's one of the best tricks there is. Many times we don't remember what we eat or how we felt after a good workout. This will give us the tools to track our best and worst habits.
Keep it fresh
Doing the same thing expecting different results is one definition of insanity. Keep it fresh and moving. This is why we have over 80 classes a week between two locations. Take advantage of that! Try different classes with different instructors, you might find a new fav.
Track progress
Tracking your progress is perhaps the best way to overcome the inevitable slumps in your fitness journey besides having a friend with you. You will hit road blocks, having a record of your progress will remind you how far you have come so far and perhaps give you guts to keep going.
