Edge Fitness’s Strength Training classes in High Point NC combines multiple methods of resistance training to give you the best results available. This group training setting (limited 20 participants) combines high and low repetition training sets to help you gain strength, muscle tone, and learn proper form safely and in a timely manner.

CLASS FOCUS

Taught mainly by Kevin Tufte and Brock Yager these classes bring you quality training in a small group setting. This is not a traditional “Olympic” Strength Training class. Although we do practice deadlifts, squats and bench press during some of the classes they are not the only exercises we do. We take the time to work on stabilizer muscle groups as well as primary movers. The results can be seen and felt anywhere from playing with the kids to bailing hay for the horses. We also offer simple and effective methods for tracking your progress. We measure your strength in specific lifts, workouts, your bodies measurements, and your weight. This allows you to have an accurate portrayal of your progress.

WHAT THEY AREN’T

These classes will not make you overly “Bulky”

We don’t focus on training methods that deal just in the size of muscles, nor do we push supplements that develop those types of results. So, ladies, you don’t have to worry about looking too bulky. This type of training does help build solid, lean muscle, and allow you a marked increase in functional strength. Doctors and Physical Therapists recommend Strength Training like this for patients that are elderly, doing rehab for injuries, and weight loss.
